The History Of AtraXion

Orion Automotive's new building in Veghel is commissioned.  1500m2 of office space and 4500m2 of warehouse, located next to the A50 motorway in Veghel. The installation of a semi-automatic assembly line for tyres and rims in Veghel allows Atraxion to supply large fleets and importers with tyre/rim kits.

Brock is a German manufacturer of premium Tüv-approved wheels. The same factory also produces RC-Design for mid-range vehicles. Two more top brands in AtraXion's portfolio!

Time for our own brand. Ruuud is to become the reference for innovative accessories for commercial vehicles and vans. Atraxion will introduce a range of reinforced wheels and Orion will now commercialise all accessories under Ruuud.

20 Years ago, Orion Automotive was founded by Ruud Vink.  As a supplier, we were closely involved in its establishment. Today, we are taking over this Dutch company. Orion is specialised in accessories for light commercial vehicles. Through the cooperation with AtraXion, Orion will also offer rims and tyres for vans in the future. We strongly believe in the future of the van as part of the mobility solution.

In order to support the growth of AtraXion we decide to invest in a new ICT system.  On October 1st the entire company,  including warehouse and accounting, switch to Odoo.

This same day we sell off our retail outlet Soupape in Reet.  In the future we purely want to concentrate on our wholesale activities.

We have been selling ARB and Old Man Emu since 2000. From now on, we are officially allowed to distribute ARB. ARB is the Australian world brand in 4x4 accessories and we are very proud that we can now offer all brands of the ARB group; OME, Bushranger, Proform.....

Extra 3000m2 of warehousing in the Industrieweg in Aartselaar.  This warehouse will host our bulk stock and will be used for loading and unloading container loads.

Our ambition is to be a European player in quad & ATV tyres. Therefore, we start importing Kenda from Taiwan. Kenda is very high quality and has many OE fitments, just like our other brands; Maxxis, ITP and Carlisle.  As a budget brand, we also import SUN F from China.

The size range of 4x4 tyres is extended to 24inch!!! with Comforser's MUD tyres and Roadcruza's A/T tyres. 

Finally, we can buy wheels directly from Borbet. We take over the import of the iconic and rock solid BORBET rims from deceased legendary Rolf Scheunemann.

Atraxion was a specialist in 4x4 tyres since it was founded. By importing Maxxis tyres, we also became an expert in quad/ATV and vintage tyres. Our range expanded to include premium brands such as Coker, Vredestein, BFGoodrich, Dunlop and MIchelin but also budget tyres from Vitour and Radar.

Since the start of Atraxion, we elaborate our assortment in 4x4 accessories every year. Some famous brands we sell: Antec – Warn – ARB - Old Man Emu – AVM – CARRYBOY hardtops

As the Brazilian brand Mangels stops producing steel rims, we are creating a new brand: Goss. Goss has reinforced steel wheels for all Off Road vehicles.

Jan Van hoolst starts the company AtraXion from his parents' hairdressing salon. As a wholesaler, AtraXion will mainly concentrate on the import of a few established tyre, wheel and accessory brands specialising in 4x4: General Tire, Excentric, Mangels, Smith's wheels, Monsoon softtops, Cobra.... The X of AtraXion is a reference to 4 X 4.
